Childcare Advocate (Part-Time)

Pay: $18.00/hr

Schedule: Tuesday: 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday: 3:15 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Location: Voices of Hope 2545 N St. Lincoln, NE 68510

About the Position: Voices of Hope is seeking a compassionate and dependable Childcare Advocate to provide a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for children whose caregivers participate in services and support groups. This position plays an important role in supporting families impacted by domestic violence by ensuring children are cared for during program activities.

Key Responsibilities: Supervise and engage children in the childcare room during support groups and program activities. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming childcare environment. Assist with childcare and inventory-related tasks. Communicate effectively with parents, advocates, and supervisors regarding any concerns. Support Voices of Hope's mission and commitment to survivors and their families.

Qualifications: Experience working with children preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and organizational skills. Reliable attendance required.
